What is Petz?

Petz is a game where you adopt and raise virtual pets, mostly dogs and cats. Released back in 1995, the franchise has gained a little bit of popularity for its addicting nature. Since then, the online Petz Community thrives, and is mostly formed by modding (which, here, we call mods hexes!)

Why DELTARUNE?

Toby Fox has referenced the Petz games a few times. Since the Spamton Sweepstakes, the game Cat Petterz, seemingly described like how Petz is, would be brought up several times (like here, for example), and as far as I know, probably dragged the DELTARUNE fandom here quite a bit since 2021.

And ever since Chapter 3+4 came out, Petzrune suddenly had a resurgence, which is why we decided to form Cat Petterz Central!

Hi there! Unlike Dib, I've only been playing Petz for about a month.
I found Petz very interesting and fun to play, but very difficult to find resources for.
I got into it because of DELTARUNE, and most likely many other Petz fans my age, and I had the idea for this project from this alone.
